From scratch to MVP to #1 Growth Champion in Europe (2015)
We are the main technology partner of emarketing since 2013.
The whole ecommerce platform was built by us from scratch, connecting all major advertising platforms and shop systems.
Since 2020 we own the technical leadership and fulfill this role passionately.
Tailor-made
software development
All services are deployed on modern cloud infrastructure (Amazon Web Services), with scalable architecture on demand. Code pipelines are set up such that tests and deployments are fully automated, both on staging and production instances.
About a dozen interoperable services and applications make up the emarketing IT landscape, carefully orchestrated through APIs and messaging (RabbitMQ) systems.
The AdTech platforms and APIs provided by Google and Facebook, incl. their shopping offerings, have been integrated into the emarketing platform, from user OAuth to automated campaign management and reporting.
We have developed plugins for all major shop systems (Shopify, Prestashop, …) which allow merchants using those systems to connect emarketing with just a few clicks.
Backends provide APIs and other interfaces while the frontend is using state-of-the-art Angular and VueJS frameworks and architectures.
Among other things, Smart Shopping Campaigns, using AI technology as well as customizable product groups selecting products on a wide variety of criteria are being used to maximize ROI on ad spend.

Premium partnership with Google & many prizes
emarketing approached us in 2013, asking us to spearhead development of SEA technologies such as keyword scrapers, integration of Google AdWords (text ads) and supporting major shop systems.
Our solution and emarketing's agency launches in 2013, quickly gaining popularity in Germany with hundreds of paying SMBs being onboarded. A fully automated analysis of merchants' web shops and advertising potential has been made available free of charge to the public.
By late 2014 and 2015, emarketing launches the Google Shopping product, one of the first of its kind in the DACH region, built by us. At its heart is a full integration of major shop systems with the Google Merchant Center APIs including provision of data feeds through the emarketing platform - scalable and on demand.
Eventually, in recognition of its stellar performance, Google awarded the solution several prizes and a Premium partnership.
Internationalization and full technical leadership
Since 2017 we completely rewrite the platform with focus on expansion to international markets beyond DACH. This implementation was largely driven by us and we launched the new international platform in 2017. All existing customers were migrated successfully.
Additional platforms such as Facebook Ads are integrated since 2018.
In 2020 the technical leadership is fully assumed by us. We achieve a faster turnover and higher development reliability. We also actively consult and support regarding product management. In the meantime, emarketing acquired big AdTech companies such as IntelliAd and diva-e.
